Fight for SD

It started as a play on words on the Chargers stupid “Fight for LA” slogan, but turned into something bigger. I had posted something on twitter calling out the Chargers for cropping out part of the American flag and a US veteran just so they could hide the words “San Diego” from their picture that was posted to honor service people. It received national media attention and my FightforSD account suddenly was getting all sorts of attention. I wanted to support our teams that support our communities, as well as try to help out with a problem facing our community.

For every t-shirt purchased, 100% of the profit goes to one of two excellent charities helping the homeless in San Diego:

• The Alpha Project offers affordable housing, substance abuse treatment, supportive housing for people with special needs, basic and emergency services for the homeless, transportation, mental health counseling, employment training and many other services.
• Veterans Village of San Diego specializes in rehabilitation of veterans returning from combat as well as helping them find housing and employment.
